Implant restoration is a process. We will guide you through the steps with an oral surgeon or periodontist to place the implant, monitor your healing process, and restore the implant to improve esthetics and function. We are available to answer any questions you might have. Overall, we want to make this process as positive and comfortable as possible.

What Are Dental Implants?

A dental implant is a titanium prosthesis used to completely replace a tooth. It’s different than traditional methods of crowning teeth, because it preserves none of the natural tooth.

The benefit to this is that implants have a 98% success rate — there’s no natural tooth to succumb to decay. Instead, a titanium screw is integrated into your jaw bones (maxilla or mandible). Your natural bone surrounds and stabilizes the screw.

Your implant will be placed by an oral surgeon or periodontist. After a healing period, we work with you and our trusted dental labs to create an implant crown that “matches” the rest of your teeth for form and function.

Implants, if maintained appropriately, will last a lifetime.
